In the heart of the Cévennes National Park, in Aulas, between Le Vigan and Mont Aigoual, La Maison Odette welcomes you to a former 17th-century silkworm farm, carefully restored with respect for its history.
Maison Odette, named after Odette Teissier du Cros, a passionate ethnologist and lover of the Cévennes, invites you to experience a timeless interlude. Here, you can slow down, share a meal, stroll through the garden, discover the region, and savor the gentle pace of Cévennes life. More than just a stay, we want to offer you the experience of a home where you feel welcomed as if you were staying with friends.
The five rooms and suites invite you to slow down, to enjoy the calm of the garden and the very special light of the Cévennes.
Located near the Cirque de Navacelles, Mont Aigoual and numerous hiking trails, La Maison Odette is an ideal starting point for discovering the landscapes of the Cévennes, exploring the surrounding villages or simply taking the time to recharge.
Throughout the year, the house also hosts artists in residence, dinners, meetings and events that extend this vocation as a living place, where nature, creation and the art of hospitality meet in a spirit of simplicity and sharing.
For the 2026 season, Maison Odette will be open from July 10 to August 31.

A guesthouse in the heart of the Cévennes
During the summer season, La Maison Odette opens its table d'hôtes to travellers to share a dinner inspired by the local produce of the Cévennes region and the rhythm of the seasons.
Each unique menu showcases local producers, the flavors of the Gard region, and a sincere, generous, and creative cuisine.
More than just a dinner, it's a moment for meeting and sharing, in the spirit of the house.
